April 24th - May 3rd
Aaron had to go to a training in Milwaukee this week, so we decided to set it up where he flew in and out of Burlington so I could spend the week at home. Time seemed to fly by, but I got to spend time with family and friends.
It's that time of year when the snack bars open - so before Aaron headed out of town, we hit up our favorite Big Hoss Dog House for some grub and enjoyed some creemees. These were the smalls my mom and dad ordered!!

I watched the Maple Festival parade with the Senesac clan ... and had the festival goodies I was craving - sugar on snow, fried bread dough and some maple cotton candy! The kids enjoyed the parade, and got SO much candy it was falling out of Anna's pockets and overflowing Selena's purse! They loved it when Nanny, who walked in the parade for the Elks, dumped a bunch of lollipops in front of them - they were cute when they stood up and started handing them out to other kids around them.

I finished a wedding invite job while I was home. Then I designed and finished some invitations for Cathryn's upcoming First Communion.
I spent an afternoon with my old friend Kelly and her two kids; got together with Shelley and Angi (Thomas) for a dinner in Burlington; a Thai dinner with Colleen; and a lunch with Selena and her boys. Here's a couple of cute pictures of Matthew - he wanted to eat the lemon, so I took before and after pictures!

The weather was a bit strange - in the 80s at the beginning of the week, rainy and in the 50s in the middle, and then about 60 and sunny toward the end. We got some outside time with the Smith kiddos on Saturday morning.

When Aaron got back into town, we took AnnaBeans out to lunch at Big Hoss - it's a regular thing for her and I, and I had promised her at Christmastime that we would hit it up when the weather was nice. We enjoyed a lunch with the little comedian and then, of course, some creemees. (Yes, I highly enjoy creemees, and had even hit up Dukes for some during the week - once with Selena and once with Spuds!)

It was a fun week and great to see everyone, as always!
