Well, here we are at 39 weeks and so far, it looks like we will be having this baby in August (Mom is happy about this ... finally someone to hand her birthstone jewelry down to!) The humidity and heat have arrived, my belly can't possibly stretch any more, the house is coming along, and we just want to meet her soon!!

Movin' on Up
July 28, 2009
Well, we closed on the house on Friday and a lot has happened since then. Shawn and Kristy came down to help out on Friday night and Dad came down on Saturday and things got rolling! They concentrated on the Nursery and the Guest Room while they were here and I'm amazed at how much they got done before heading back home. Here are some progress pics of their hard work:

We are so happy we had family here to help out in getting started. The Smiths are now in town for a visit and Tyler has volunteered his painting skills (and 18-inch roller!) to help out. After tomorrow, we're on our own until the 4th, when Aaron's Dad comes to work on some projects for a week. This is going to be a long road, but well worth it for the house AND getting to see lots of friends and family!

The Nursery
Done: carpet out, old molding off, holes spackled and sanded, trim painted and all paint on walls.

Still to do: add white molding between colors, have carpeted, add furniture and baby!
Guest Room

Still to do: have carpeted, and decorate!

37 Weeks - Full Term!!!!
July 17, 2009
Today marks being 37 weeks along, which means our baby is now full term! This is a big milestone, knowing that she is fully developed, her lungs are mature and would be able to survive out in "the real world" if she comes early. (And God knows with this closing for the house only being a week away and everything we're trying to take care of for that, it could happen from the stress of it all!)
Here is a new picture of the belly, which is getting tougher to lug around - she is getting big quickly and is still a VERY active baby!
And here is the side-by-side of two weeks ago and today:

Bay Day 2009
July 5, 2009
Aaron put together a team for the Bay Day Triathlon this year - Spuds as a runner, him on his new bike, and our friend Dave in the kayak. Aaron had hoped to get out on his bike more during June, but it rained about 22 days out of the 30 and he didn't get too much of an opportunity to do so.
Shawn had his regular triathlon team this year.

Uncle Pete and family friend Gerard also did a duathlon team.
It was another perfect day for the race this year and Spuds started the race out strong, coming in from the 3.1 miles at a good time, just 4 or 5 seconds behind Gerard.
Uncle Pete took off a bit ahead of Aaron and they were off for the 12-mile bike ride. They pushed each other and stayed together for the whole leg - and Aaron came in just before Pete.

34 Weeks, 6 Days!
July 2, 2009
Once again, we will be in Vermont for my 35 week picture, so I've taken it a day ahead. Here's the big belly just before 35 weeks ... only about 5 weeks to go!!!!

Here is the side-by-side difference from two weeks ago up to today. Not much of a difference, but it sure feels like it to me. :)

This will also be our last weekend in Vermont as a family of two - we will be staying local after the holiday so I'm not too far from the hospital. Next time we head up there, it will be our new little family of three!!!!!

Inspected, Appraised, Approved and Waiting!
July 1, 2009
We've now gone through all the appropriate steps and approvals for buying a home - now, we wait. The closing will be at the end of this month and we couldn't be more excited about it. We are happy to have our current apartment until the end of August - this will make the transition to the house a bit easier, especially since we don't know when Charlotte will make her debut!
Hooksett, NH ... here we come!!!!!!
